CityBee stands for equality and allows all users to use our service regardless of age and length of driving experience. However, some car models will have age restrictions to improve safety, reduce accidents and control financial risks, especially those that could significantly affect young drivers, such as:
In Latvia from 01.08.2024 only Škoda Fabia, Opel Mokka, Hyundai i20 and Ford Fiesta car models will be available to customers who are at least 18 years old but under 19.
In Lithuania from 01.08.2024 only Škoda Kamiq car model will be available to customers who are atleast 18 years old but under 19. All other models not mentioned above are available to customers aged 19 and over.
In Estonia from 01.08.2024 only Ford Fiesta car model will be available to customers who are atleast 18 years old but under 19. All other models not mentioned above are available to customers aged 19 and over.
From 09.05.2024 in Latvia only these car models VW T-Roc, VW Tiguan, BMW 1 Series, Kia Sportage, Ford Kuga and Nissan Qashqai are available to customers aged 20 and over. Younger users who do not meet the required age still have the option to use CityBee, but the number of car models available will be smaller.
However, in Lithuania and Estonia, it is necessary to bring a personal “Maple Leaf” magnetic sticker, which you have to stick to the back of the car in Lithuania and to the front of the car in Estonia. Do not forget to remove the sticker at the end of Your trip.
