Leaving the car in private parking lots

Parking in private paid lots is allowed, but you will need to cover the parking cost yourself.

Additionally, regardless of whether the area is shown in the app as a free parking zone (transparent) or a paid parking zone (yellow), customers must always comply with local traffic regulations, road signs, supplementary signs, and any other parking restrictions in force.

Before ending your reservation, always make sure that parking is permitted in the selected location.

What happens when I get a flat tire?

If you experience a flat tire during your trip, don’t worry—we’re here to help! Here’s what you should do:

Pull over safely: First and foremost, make sure you stop the car in a safe location.

Contact us immediately: Let us know about the flat tire as soon as possible by reaching out through the CityBee app or our customer service. We’ll guide you on the next steps and assist with any necessary arrangements.

Don’t attempt repairs on your own: We’ll take care of everything, so there’s no need to replace the tire yourself. Just follow the instructions provided by our team.

The good news is that the BeeChill fee is designed to cover tire repairs, provided that you follow our Terms of Service and adhere to traffic laws. You’ll be covered as long as the flat tire isn’t caused by actions like driving on it while it’s flat, causing more damage, or failing to report the incident.

Driver's license registry

If you’d like to use the car-sharing service, you’ll need to confirm the validity of your driver’s license.

You can do this in just a few minutes by following the steps in the ‘CityBee’ app. Open the app, choose Add driver’s license and enter your driver license number.

We now offer several ways to confirm your license:

Smart-ID or Mobile-ID

Available for users whose driver’s license can be verified through these electronic identification methods.

Uploading photos

If you prefer pictures, you can complete the process by taking a few photos directly in the app. You’ll be asked to:

1) Take a selfie;

2) Take a selfie while holding your driver’s license;

3) Take a photo of the front side of the document.

Whichever method you choose, please make sure your document is valid and undamaged. When taking photos ensure good lighting and that document is removed from any cover or case so your document number, personal identification number, and personal photo can be clearly seen.

Note: We accept only photocard driver’s licenses.

Can I switch to pay-as-you-go pricing if I have a CityBee subscription plan?

During your CityBee subscription period, you can choose between using a subscription plan trip or purchasing a pre-paid trip package for a longer route at the start of each trip. The pay-as-you-go pricing will automatically apply only if you exceed the allocated kilometers and/or minutes for the subscription plan or the additionally purchased package.

Who can purchase the CityBee subscription?

Trip cost calculation

The usage time of the car starts from the moment of unlocking the car or when you click “extend the reservation” and ends when the car is locked via the smartphone app.

Each time you use CityBee, you are able to choose “Flexible” or prepaid “Packages” pricing.

Trip start fee – additionally applicable to all “pay as you go” trips (not applicable to travel packages). Fee amount for each car is indicated in the App.

Prepaid packages – the prices for the packages are fixed. Prepaid package prices are based on the time and kilometers included. If the time or kilometers included in the package are exceeded, the additional price is calculated according to the set tariff, specified when choosing the package.

You can find all of the available packages and prices in the CityBee app and use the custom package function.

There is no extra charge for fuel and insurance – we take care of it.
