CityBee is now included in the selection of replacement cars for If casco insurance

If Insurance and CityBee have started a partnership that offers casco insurance customers a flexible alternative to the usual replacement car. While their car is being repaired, customers can choose the CityBee service and use the shared car fleet according to their actual mobility needs – without rental agreements or additional obligations.

According to Taavi Kruus, head of vehicle damage at If Insurance, people’s expectations regarding freedom of movement are changing. “Car repairs do not have to mean being stuck with the same replacement car. In cooperation with CityBee, we offer convenience: customers don’t have to worry about signing a rental agreement, paying a deposit, or handing over the car. It’s a modern and environmentally friendly choice that is particularly well suited to urban environments,” explained Kruus.

According to Egert Kivisaar, head of CityBee Estonia, the strength of the service lies in its flexibility. “We offer users different types of vehicles – from compact city cars to larger and more spacious models – and the service is available in several Estonian cities. The cooperation with If Insurance allows insurance customers to use exactly the type of car they need, exactly when they need it,” added Kivisaar.

With the new solution, customers receive €30 per day in CityBee credit for the entire time their car is being repaired. The entire amount is credited to their account at once and is valid for the entire repair period. The credit covers vehicle rental, fuel, and free parking in CityBee zones.

If Insurance’s existing options remain available – customers can still choose a traditional replacement car or financial compensation. The cooperation with CityBee expands the choices and gives more freedom to decide which solution is best in a specific situation.
