The BeeChill fee has your back by covering damages in the event of an accident where you’re at fault. Just remember, itâs essential to report the incident to us immediately.
However, there are certain situations where the BeeChill fee won’t cover the damages. These exceptions are outlined in our Terms of Service (section 7.17) and include cases such as:
Failing to report the incident to us;
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
Violating traffic regulations;
Engaging in intentional or grossly negligent actions.
To make sure you’re protected, the BeeChill fee is applied to each trip as outlined in our our Pricelist. For full details, we encourage you to check out the Terms of Service.
This fee applies to all Pay As You Go trips and is already included in the price of our trip packages or trips made with a subscription plan!

However, in Lithuania and Estonia, you must bring a personal “Maple Leaf” magnetic sticker, which you must stick to the back of the car in Lithuania and to the front of the car in Estonia. Do not forget to remove the sticker at the end of your trip.
During the validity period of your CityBee subscription plan, you can choose trip packages for longer trips, which are available for an additional cost.
BeeChill fee covers towing costs if the vehicle needs to be towed due to an accidentâjust make sure to inform us right away, and weâll handle the rest.
However, the BeeChill fee does not cover towing costs in the following situations:
Running out of charge: If you discharge the EV battery, towing costs wonât be covered, as itâs your responsibility to ensure the vehicle has enough charge, just like with fuel in traditional cars.
Parking violations: If the vehicle is towed because of a traffic violation, such as parking in a restricted area, the fee will not cover the costs and you’ll be responsible for the towing charges.
In these cases, itâs important to follow traffic rules and keep an eye on the vehicleâs battery or fuel level to avoid extra costs. For more details, please refer to our Terms of Service or Pricelist.

Depending on the model and the charging station type, the time varies:
Fast charging stations (50+kW) â 0-80% in 45 min (VW e-Crafter, Fiat 500E) or 1h 10 min (Peugeot e-2008);
AC charging stations (11 kW) â 0-80% in 3.5h (VW e-Crafter, Fiat 500E) or 4.5h (Peugeot e-2008);
Home charging from domestic electric 220V socket â 0-80% in 14h (VW e-Crafter) or 20h (Peugeot e-2008, Fiat 500E).
Once you reserve a car, you are able to keep it reserved for you 15 minutes for free. However, if you werenât able to reach the car within 15 minutes and need additional time â you can easily extend your reservation through the app. Just click on Reservation and then select Extend.

The price for extended reservation costs as much as the time price for that specific car displayed in the price list.
The maximum duration of the extended reservation is 24 hours. If you do not unlock a car by selecting Unlock in the app within that period, the reservation will discontinue and you will be charged for the time used. You can cancel the extended reservation anytime. In this case, you will pay only for the used paid reservation time.
