The areas highlighted on the map of the CityBee application are parking areas where cars can be picked up and must be parked at the end of the trip (only, of course, without violating traffic rules: without parking the car in places marked “Reserved” or “No parking”. Also, please do not leave CityBee cars in underground, multi-store parking lots, private driveways or on the lawn.
Green zone
You can always leave your Bee here if you follow the traffic rules, do not park in disabled and reserved areas. Important – green areas for cars, cargo and electric cars are different.
Yellow zone
Leaving your Bee here incurs a fee to be added to the trip. Please note that the fee differs for each area. Click on the desired area to see the fee amount.
Red zone
It is not permitted to leave your Bee here. Ending the trip in the prohibited areas might result in a fine. Areas not separated by color are also not CityBee areas and Bees cannot be left in them. Bees must return to the beehive.
With CityBee cars you can also travel between cities and towns (including vans but in some cases van drivers have to buy their own vignettes and pay for the roads themselves*).
Parking in the city parking lots in Lithuania (Vilnius, Kaunas, Gargzdai, Klaipeda, Palanga, Kretinga, Neringa, Alytus) is free of charge. Parking in Palanga is free only in CityBee zones (indicated in the mobile application).
Parking in the city parking lots in Latvia (Riga and Jūrmala (Jurmala)) is free of charge.
Parking in the city parking lots in Estonia (Tallinn) is free of charge in the city’s parking spaces (except Old Town) and in selected private car parks (https://help.citybee.tech/et/articles/5598752-millistes-tasulistes-citybee-tsoonides-saan -parkida) as well as in other cities marked on the CityBee map.
If the car is parked in a private paid parking lot (with the exceptions mentioned above), the driver pays the parking fee independently.
You can travel between Baltic countries: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, but for leaving car in other country you will be charged 59 euros.

In Latvia vignettes are included in the price and drivers don’t have to buy it.
In Estonia You have to buy a vignette if the vehicle weighs more than 3500kg.

When using CityBee, you do not need to pay for the fuel – you will pay only for the time used and for kilometers driven.
When the fuel drops to 1/4 volume of the tank capacity, go to any Circle-K gas station in Lithuania and fuel the bee. Fill a full fuel tank and pay with the gas stations’ card which you will find in the CityBee car at the sun visor on the top of the driver’s side.
You will find the payment card PIN code in the CityBee app after opening your active reservation. You will find stickers indicating the type of fuel for a car on the sun visor and the fuel tank cover (both inside and outside).
As of May 17, 2022, it is no longer possible to purchase the Premium Plan service, but customers who have purchased this plan before will be able to use it successfully until the service package expires.
You will be able to order the reduced financial responsibility service each time you book a new trip. As usual, if an accident occurs through your fault, you will have the opportunity to reduce your financial liability from € 500 to € 100. The fee is valid until the end of the package.
Currently, CityBee offers a long-term car rent and any car from the CityBee car park can be rented. Usage is no different from short-term CityBee rent service, and all the offered benefits (insurance, fuel, washing) remain too.
How long can a person use a car?
If settlements are successful – the duration is unlimited.
What is the amount of time you will be charged for a trip when the car is used by an individual?
If you use the car continuously, the money will be charged every 24 hours. If the deduction is unable, we will ask you to pay or end the reservation of the car. If you have any credits in your CityBee wallet – it will be used first.
VAT invoice in this case will be issued for payments made last month instead of the actual date (end) of the reservation.
Please note that this service is provided in Lithuania only.
Make sure the car is unlocked.
Take the car keys and find the charging coin (RFID key) attached (there are two coins: one for “IgnitisON” and one for “ElintaCharge”).
In case of charging at the “IgnitisON” charging station or “ElintaCharge” fast charging station:
Approach the charging station, scan the charging token, and choose “Stop Charging” (“Sustabdyti”).
Wait a few seconds until the charging process is fully stopped.
Gently unplug the cable from the vehicle and leave it at the charging station.
In case of charging the vehicle at a 2-slot “ElintaCharge” station:
Scan the charging token and wait for a few seconds until the word “Charging” on the station stops lightning.
Wait a few seconds until the charging process is fully stopped.
Gently unplug the cable from the charging station first and then unplug it from the CityBee vehicle.
Don’t leave the cable at the charging station, put the cable back in the car:
• In the case of the VW e-Crafter electric van – under the front center seat
• In the case of a passenger car – to the spare wheel space in the trunk.
If you cannot unplug the cable from the car easily, take the car keys and press the “Unlock” button twice again.
If the car is parked in a private paid parking lot (with the exceptions mentioned above), the driver pays the parking fee independently.
We rely on other legal entities in the provision of our services (data centres, document, photo verification, administration, payment, audit, accounting, legal and advisory services, debt collection, mobile app usage analysis and statistics monitoring, direct marketing, email, SMS, payment intermediaries, etc.)
In all cases, we ensure that third parties providing services comply with our obligations of confidentiality and proper protection of personal data.
If necessary, your personal data may be provided to state and municipal authorities in accordance with applicable legislation and / or our legitimate interests.
After an accident involving a CityBee car used on your behalf, your data is transferred to insurance companies and, if necessary, to other parties involved in the accident.
CityBee also has the right and, in certain cases, the obligation to pass on information about road traffic offences committed by customers (e.g., speeding, drunk-driving) to the responsible authorities (e.g., the Police).
The CityBee Privacy Policy provides detailed information on the purpose of processing your personal data and the duration of storage thereof.
If the traffic accident occurs not due to the fault of a CityBee customer, no additional fees or penalties will apply.
If the traffic accident occurs due to the CityBee driver, the following options are available:
1. If the damage done amounts to less than the maximum financial liability (€500), the driver who damaged the car will be issued an invoice based on the repair estimate.
2. If the damage caused to the car is more than €500, the CityBee customer is subject to financial liability of €500.
